Our speaker was Nancy Hollander. She is an internationally recognized criminal defense lawyer and an Associate Tenant with Doughty Street Chambers, London/UK. Her practice is largely devoted to representing individuals and organizations accused of crimes, including those involving national security issues. She presently represents two prisoners at the Guantánamo Bay Naval Base and Chelsea Manning who was convicted  after disclosing thousands of classified documents to WikiLeaks. In our Montagsrunde she presented her experiences with defending in high-profile cases like these. She took some conclusions about the US justice-system and its present workings and failings.
